Names for a book I'm making?

I'm writing a book having to do with the LAPD's Special Victims Unit. I have almost all of their names chosen besides the main girl's partner's. I had James or Jamie, but it just doesn't feel right. I LOVE the name Elliot, but that'd be copying off of the Law and Order SVU, which I don't wanna do, even though my guy's attitude is like Elliot's and the guy from the regular Law & Order. Like how awkward he acts during interrogation. I just need a good name that I'll like just as much as Elliot.
