Is it just me? Crime shows?

Sometimes i want the criminal to win just because it would be cool and kinda awesome. like i was just watching Criminal Minds season 6 episode "JJ" where a guy kidnapped a girl and threw her into the ocean where some sharks were, but she lived and they found her. sometimes i really want the bad guy to win so the good guys dont get cocky. sometimes in Law and Order/CI/SVU the bad guy gets away and I think it happened once in CSI and there are episodes where the guy escapes and they dont know who he is, but that doesnt count. I want something where the guy kills, goes to trial, gets free and the good guys are all sad and whatnot. is it just me or do others sometimes have those feelings?
