Should I get a tumblr?

I love Mariska Hargitay and SVU I don't have a facebook or anything I want to share my obsession with other people I have enough time! :) I ave heard that it gives you viruses I cant afford a virus is this true? I would really like one but not if it gives me a virus! Please tell me anything you know! Has it given you a virus before?
